Lindsey Langley: The Neighborhoods of Nashville

Sip Cafe

Lindsey: “If you have not yet made it over to Sip Cafe’s new Inglewood location, just follow the aroma of freshly brewed local coffee to the new East Side spot.  Just a short month ago,  this half coffee shop/ half ice cream shop welcomed coffee and ice cream lovers  to a new unique location.  Sip Cafe transformed the old First American Bank on Gallatin Road into one of the most amazingly designed coffee shops I have probably ever set foot in!”

Impact Fitness & Wellness Solutions

Lindsey: “As I am considering swim suit season and becoming more conscious of my overall health, I came across Impact Fitness & Wellness Solutions located in the heart of Berry Hill.  Many individuals have some sort of anxiety, nerves, or question their confidence when entering a gym for many understandable reasons. If this is you, Impact Fitness and Wellness Solutions is a great place to get started to reach your goals.”

Vintage Creek

Lindsey: “Anyone that knows me, knows that I am in love with the small community of White’s Creek, TN.  Where else in Nashville can you be surrounded by rolling hills, and still just a 7-10 minute drive from downtown?  With only a few local stores and restaurants, White’s Creek has maintained its authenticity throughout the years and one of Nashville’s  best kept secrets.  With the award-winning Fontanel Resort, restaurants, and outdoor music venue, I am confident this area will continue to thrive, but never lose its quaint atmosphere.”

Barista Parlor

Lindsey: “Why do Nashvillians love their coffee so much? Is it the experience of sharing a cup with a friend? Is it the taste or smell that captures us? Barista Parlor on the East Side and their new location in The Gulch satisfies pretty much every part of the coffeehouse experience. I love Barista Parlor’s killer record collection and open creative atmosphere. Their roasts, pastries and delicious chocolate collections are hands down the best I have experienced not just locally, but anywhere. We Nashvillians love to joke about the East Nashville hipster movement, but Barista has a way of inviting any and all who want to sit down for a cup of joe, conduct business meetings, or relax with a good book — especially with the second location now open in the heart of the Gulch.”

New South Motorsport

Storm: “The weather is warming up, and this is the time of year we wash the salt off our rims, roll down the windows, and turn the radio up. New South Motorsport has been serving the Middle Tennessee area for over five years.  Nick Turney and his team can pretty much do anything from auto detailing to custom wheels, lifts, audio and everything else you need to have to your ride looking brand new and summertime ready.  From the minute you step inside the New South showroom and office, it’s very obvious these guys know how to create any custom look you might desire for your vehicle, and no project is too big or small.  Although New South is located in Franklin, a 20-minute drive from downtown, it is well worth it to get the great customer service, creativity, and craftsmanship that comes along with doing business with these guys.”

Reds Classic Barber Shop

Lindsey: “A few thoughts rush through my mind when entering Red’s Classic Barber Shop. First, I’ve always said if I could live in a different era, it would be the 1930’s. Second, there is something to be said about the barber shop atmosphere in general —  the close relationship/trust between a barber and his clients, and the classic techniques mixed with a dash of modern style that create the ambiance at Red’s Classic Barber Shop.”
